Cerebral Palsy is a physical disability that affects movement and posture. Cerebral Palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood. Cerebral Palsy is the result of a combination of events before, during and after birth that can lead to an injury in a baby's developing brain. Every 15 hours, an Australian child is born with Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral Palsy can range from weakness in one hand, to an almost complete lack of movement people with severe physical disability may require 24 hour a day care.
